I\u2019m Au\u00f0bergur G\u00edslason, a designer from Iceland.<\/span><\/p>\n I’ve worked for many companies, institutions, associations, and individuals. At age 25, I became a senior designer for Heimkaup, Iceland’s biggest e-commerce. Before that, I was a designer for Alcoa, where I focused on UI. Currently, I’m a Product Designer at the City of Reykjav\u00edk where I’m in charge of the city’s Design System.<\/span><\/p>\n I studied\u00a0<\/span>Production Technology and Product Development<\/span><\/em>\u00a0at\u00a0<\/span>The Copenhagen School of Design and Technology<\/span><\/em>\u00a0in Denmark. While there, I was the head of\u00a0<\/span>KEA Goes Deep<\/span><\/em>, a team that built a small remotely operated submarine that we competed with at an international contest in LA.<\/span><\/p>\n I\u2019m curious, and I love to learn new things.
